II Cor.5:21
For he hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin: that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
Jesus is pure and without sin, but because of our sinful state (you and i) as humans, He left all His glory and came to die for us. This happened so that we might be able to partake in the worthy walk, thus heaven. Sinners cannot get to heaven. Only the pure in heart will see Jesus.
Now examine yourself. Are you worthy enough to partake in the walk with God? If no, then you have to repent and accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. If yes, then pray to God for more grace to continue.

GEN. 3: 24
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
From our text today, we learn that God drove man from the Garden of Eden and He also restricted us in order not to get access to the tree of life as a result of their disobedience (sin). In our time, we are driven away from the glory of God when we disobey (sin) His commandments and we are restricted not to get access to heaven. But now God is calling us to a worthy walk. A walk which will lead us to heaven (“tree of life”). The qualification is holiness. Repent and let the blood of Jesus purge you clean and wholly in order to partake in this walk.

REV. 22:14
Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates in to the city.
Today God is telling us that those who do (obey) His commandments may have the right to the tree of life again. The commandments are simple and easy to follow if you have really been cleansed from your sins by the blood of Jesus and have received the grace of God (2 COR. 9:8). If you have not received Jesus as your Lord and savior, repent for the second coming of Christ is near. Be steadfast in your faith in the Lord Jesus if you have already received salvation in the atoning blood of Jesus.

2 COR. 6:17
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
Today God is still commanding us to separate ourselves and come out from this world full sin and iniquity. You cannot serve both God and the things of this world. Forsake the pleasures of this world so that you can partake in this worthy walk. God is calling you and I to a worthy walk which has its qualification to be holiness. Think about it.

REV.21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Today’s text makes it clear about heaven. How happy “we” shall be, because neither pain nor sorrow, nor darkness. All the things we are experiencing now will be no more. Don’t you want to be there? I quoted “we” because I’m talking about those who are pure in heart. Not church goers, not tithes and offering payers, not humble people or people who obey the law alone will get to heaven. Note that only those whose name will be found written in the book of life (The righteous and pure in heart), will forever be in heaven.

MALACHI 3:7
Even from the days of your fathers: ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of host. But ye said, wherein shall we return?
The Lord of host is telling us to return to Him this time round and He will also return to us. Is that not appealing to the ear? We are to put a stop to our human ways and ten follow the ways of the Lord. We were ignorant o how to return to God, but now He sent His only son to die for our sins. So now we have the right to go back to God. What are you still doing in the world? Don’t be wallowing in sins and think there is no heaven or hell. They are all real. Repent and return unto the Lord. If you have already given your life to God then, be encouraged to continue in the faith.”Behold I come quickly”….

OBADIAH 1:17
But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
Beloved in Christ, see how God loves us. Today too He is saying that there is a day coming. A day of deliverance, a day when we shall see only holiness, a day when we shall possess all the things we are suppose to have. How sweet and wonderful heaven shall be. Deliverance from what? Deliverance from the afflictions, persecutions, temptations, trials and hindrances of the evil one. So that you will live a holy life from then and finally you shall possess your possessions. It will be in heaven: where there is no shedding of tears – always joy. Is your name in the book of life? Only the pure in heart will see Jesus.
